作为两大主要伦理理论流派的义务论和功利主义代表了两种不同的伦理思维,为教师提供了两种相异的伦理思考方式和伦理决策途径。在义务论的视角下,教师的专业伦理决策应该是"基于规则"的;而在功利主义的视角下,教师的专业伦理决策应该是"基于行为结果"的。然而,无论是纯粹地从义务论的视角,还是纯粹地从功利主义的视角来思考伦理决策,都是不充分的。教师的专业伦理决策需要一种整合的路径,即结合这两种伦理理论进行综合考虑,在关注行为本身的正当性的同时关注行为可能产生的结果。
Abstract:As two major ethical theories,Deontology and Utilitarianism represent two different ways of ethical thinking. They provide two different approaches on professional ethical decision-making for teachers. In the perspective of Deontology,teachers' professional ethical decision-making should be"rule-based",while in Utilitarianism,teachers' professional ethical decision-making should be"behavior-based". However,it is inadequate if we think about ethical decision-making just from the perspective of Deontology,or from Utilitarianism. Teachers 'professional ethical decision-making needs an integrated approach,namely making a comprehensive consideration on the two ethical theories. When teachers make an ethical decision-making,they should focus on both the legitimacy of the behavior and the results of the behavior.
