故事是人类最古老、最自然的意义感知形式,它具有情境性、整体性、娱乐性、可记忆性等特征。它是一种经验知识表征方式,一种促进认知和思维的工具,一种蕴含着现实意义的逼真情境,一种支持问题解决的脚手架和启发式策略。所以,故事能够有效地促进学习者隐性知识以及个人知识的生成、迁移与应用,也有助于实现学校教育的深层学习要求,是促进深度学习的有效干预措施。它正以一种正规的身份进入到教育领域中,并逐渐受到了教育理论与教育实践的普遍关注。
