相对于传统的教育形态,西方现代社区教育在同社区的关联度和结构功能上存在着重要差异。首先,它是为了社区的教育,以社区需求和终身学习为导向;第二,它是属于社区的教育,强调社区参与与公民精神;第三,它是通过社区的教育,重视社区教育资源的有效利用。探讨西方现代社区教育理念的启示在于:我国社区教育应着眼于我国社区发展的特殊需求,重视社区参与机制的建立,避免产生新的教育分隔。
Abstract：As to the relation with community,there are big differences between traditional education and western modern community education.First,modern community education is a kind of education for community,oriented by community demands and lifelong learning.Secondly,it is a kind of education by community,emphasizing community participation and citizen spirit.Thirdly,it is a kind of eduction of community,emphasizing the effective utilization of educational resources.The three ideas of western modern community education has important inspiration to community education development in China.
