This paper interprets the newly issued “Arts Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)”. It includes revision background, designing thought, division of schooling stages, core competencies of Arts curriculum, and content structure of curriculum. It focuses on describing the changes and their rationale in the Fine Arts curriculum under the background and framework of Arts integration. This paper aims to help researchers and art education teachers understand the key points and methods of art curriculum quickly and accurately and then implement the new Arts Curriculum Standards even better.
