本文以笔者在哈佛大学音乐系教授的《表演分析》、《16世纪调式对位》、《后调性音乐分析》三门课程为例,探讨了哈佛大学本科生与研究生音乐理论学科教学中的实验性改革以及富有成效的方法,倾谈了教学心得;另外,以跨学科共建课程《聆听的艺术》为例,强调了"聆听"与"体验"在教学中所应占据的重要地位,提出了理论与实践应高度结合并形成新的融合之理念。

Abstract:

This essay is based on the lecture that Christopher Hasty gave at East China Normal University and Shanghai Conservatory Of Music in May 2014. Professor Hasty is the director of music theory program of Harvard. He introduces experiments and productive method that his colleagues and he have made in teaching undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard through three courses which are Analyzing Performance,Modal( 16thCentury) Counterpoint and The Analysis of Post Tonal Music. Meanwhile,professor Hasty introduced the interdisciplinary curriculum "the art of listening"emphasizing the importance of the "hearing " and "experience " in teaching and put forward that theory and practice should be highly combined and form new ideas of fusion.
