教育与美国城市犯罪的治理(1880—1920年)Education and the Governance of Urban Crimes in the United States: 1880-1920

摘要(Abstract):
19世纪末20世纪初是美国城市化进程中的关键期,也是美国城市发展中第一次出现犯罪危机的高发期。为了稳定社会环境,在社会各界通过各种努力来减少犯罪行为发生的同时,各州和地区也着力于将教育视为一种社会控制的工具,来帮助解决城市犯罪问题。在我国,从教育努力的视角来谈如何解决美国城市犯罪的研究较少,本文将对这一时期美国城市犯罪的整体状况进行概述的基础上,从教育解决城市犯罪问题的微观视角出发,重点探讨公立教育机构和高等教育机构如何通过自身努力来预防和阻止犯罪行为的发生,以及教育在解决社会犯罪问题中所发挥的重要作用。
